uPVC or Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride is a sturdy, chemically resistant type of PVC which is commonly used for pipework and window frames amongst other structures. This particular plastic is ideal for the use of pipework etc. due to its tremendous durability and its ability to stay ‘healthy’ for long periods of time. It also requires very little maintenance and upkeep and is recognised for its thermal efficiency, its sound insulating properties and generally being good value for money making it the perfect material to use for roofline and guttering etc.

You can also find uPVC being used for larger structures, however, when done in this way, you find the structure will be reinforced with galvanised steel to further improve the structure’s strength and durability.
